Wow! Beautiful pictures - especially the first two. I think it's really neat how the people are disappearing into the mist in the 2nd one. Beautiful work.

Steve Kaetterhenry gave us at the Center a moving presentation of his team's work after the quake. He shared with us the beautiful and anointed song sung by Davidson Jean-ReJouis now on a Youtube called "Heartbreak for Haiti-Creole and English" with a URL of: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egREiVMjR6s&feature=youtu.be) a great Haitian tribute to the Lord's ministry among the Haitian people...a healing in song. So glad you all had a little reprieve. Ben, WOW... these are incredible... It is so clear how your presence puts people at ease in the photos you capture. Amazing what you do with perfect strangers! Please keep this pics and updates coming. :) JRD

Reminds me of Wendell Berry -

THE PEACE OF WILD THINGS
When despair grows in me
and I wake in the middle of the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children's lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting for their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.

p.s. My word verification is "suxorita."
