Okay

We just wanted to let everyone know that we're okay. We're definitely in shock and can't begin to describe what the last day and 1/2 have been like here. We're also shocked right now to be seeing the headlines about the extensive international aid response in Port-Au-Prince because as of yet, we have not seen a single organized response on the ground (unless you count Ben with a pick).

Please especially pray for a few friends and acquaintances that we haven't received word of yet and for our coworkers Joel and Rachel, who are currently at the American embassy waiting to be evacuated on a flight to Santo Domingo tomorrow: http://joelandrachelhoffman.wordpress.com/2010/01/13/were-okay/

So happy to see this post! When you are able, please let us know a little more. Are you home? Staying at MCC? Were you together during the quakes, and where? Are you helping with rescues or still recovering? Do you have Luna?

So dissappointed to hear that international aid is not reaching. Its the biggest frustration for me sitting here in cold Canada unable to help...
